Regime Change and Religious Conversion Don't Work for Democracy In a Superstitious Culture.

A major Catholic school in town was shut-down due to lack of attendance. This was in May of 2018.
This isn't affecting just Catholics, but practically all religious institutions. They are undermined by academic institutions.

Logic, Reason, Critical Thinking Skills, are all tenets of an educated, fully democratized society. Leaving behind religious and tribal privileges and corruption for a balanced, sustainable distribution of resources to maintain a peaceful social order without need for the use of threats or force.

Control over people is not really about any one particular religion. It's the depth of superstition within which they lurk. It doesn't matter who the god or the leader is, as long as the acolyte is devout. This may partly explain why Pope Francis resigned evangelism to the dust bin.

Hypothesizing from Jean Piaget's stages of cognitive development, it's not difficult to see that a large portion of the planet's population has suspended development at the Concrete Operational Stage, but how does superstition play into cognitive development?

• Locus of Control
• External locus of control. belief that they are not in control of their own lives.
• They believe in fate, that God has a plan for them.
• They defer the most personal decisions in their lives to their leaders.
• Internal Locus of control is the sense that you can control your life. That you have control over the outcome of your future. Confidence, Expertise. The ability to affect changes in one's community.

It may be more complicated that Just either Internal or External Locus of Control. There may be degrees of FAITH.

Academic consulting of military intervention, regime change, etc., has proven to be a complete disaster, unless of course you work the line at a weapons manufacturing facility.

Oxytocin, Narcissism, and Psychopathy Articles

Oxytocin levels appear to be related to feelings of empathy or the lack thereof. If this is conclusive, then the absence of oxytocin is epidemic in certain populations.

Self-Esteem Psychosis - Random Notes

Feelings of satisfaction can only be recognized by comparing past situations where satisfaction was experienced. Most memories of positive emotions come from early to prepubescent childhood.

 As our bodies change, our hormones and neurotransmitter chemicals change, sometimes in a way that lessens the salience of positive emotions in response to external stimuli. Some chemical changes are more extreme than others.

A psychosis of self-esteem comes from the distortion of values and judgments of the self compared to other people and cultural expectations, often leading to irrational violence.

Hormonal Driving in Traffic

Just another wacky working hypothesis: Is it possible to invent a Breathalyzer that measures hormone levels such as Oxytocin, Adrenaline, Testosterone and Cortisol? How do these hormones affect behavior in public, and especially while driving in traffic?

After briefly reading articles about hormones, I came up with this.
The sexuality thing is unrelated.

I'm not even sure if these notes are accurate, these are just hashed out for later focus so I don't forget.

By measuring hormones and neurotransmitter chemicals, it may be possible to deliver a psychological driving risk assessment. A very large survey of samples from accidents must be collected anonymously, only coded test results with related accident information is necessary.

Hey, this might already exist, especially for people who drive trucks for a company.

Mass Media and the GI Joe Fallacy

I just added this to the list of cognitive biases at the Google site. Our empathy and Mirror Neurons are the Indirect Operant Conditioning pathways into our subconscious minds, and our biases and fallacies are the weakest points.

G.I.Joe Fallacy : “Now you know, and knowing is half the battle” is a falsehood when it comes to knowing that you have cognitive biases, because cognitive biases and logical fallacies are reinforced by mass media deploying Operant Conditioning.

Advertising, fictional literature and cinema, reinforce our cognitive biases every day by showing us behaviors in characters that respond to biases and fallacies with what seems like logical outcomes. We subconsciously infer these behaviors to be normal responses.

Therefore, despite knowing our biases and fallacies, we soon forget as we are continuously bombarded by mass media.

Slave Reparations are Necessary

There are immediate needs that must be met until the fate of people are no longer affected by simply living within certain Zip Codes.

It's imperative that all public school funding be equalized nationwide. Because there is a school funding disparity, the argument that Ben Shapiro and others stand by that "lifestyle and wealth are choices" omits the fact that choices must be informed.

Educated people make better choices. When education is deprived through engineered education repression of funding, the choice is not made by the poor, it is made for them by those who control access to education resources.

Yet not even Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren have ever discussed public elementary and primary education funding.

Elementary and primary education have always been in crisis. Busing was a red herring, a cover for maintaining school funding boundaries. Nobody ever said a word about that.

So a temporary solution is necessary until the next few generations of repressed minorities can make their way through a vastly improved education system and show the world their full potential with properly informed choices.

Fundamental Sophomoricism: Suspended Cognitive Development

We begin with Merriam Webster's Dictionary definition of the word "Sophomoric."

Here are the factors:

• At or above the age of cognitive development equal to the Formal Operational stage, but continues to exhibit Concrete Operational thinking.
• Lack of abstract reasoning skills
• Can't or won't consider long-term consequences or degrees of effects beyond one's own social circles.
• Makes no effort to imagine one's self in the position of other people not directly related or within one's own social circles.
• Lack of empathy.
• Criticizes people for traits over which they cannot control or change.
• Lack of formal social etiquette
• Lack of situational awareness
• Persistent mild agoraphobia
• Persistent mistrust despite obvious evidence to the contrary
• Persistent feeling of victimization, marginalization, despite being a member of the dominant group in society.
• Xenophobia
• Dunning-Kruger Effect 
• Unable to distinguish the difference in consequences between telling facts and lying.
• Unable to understand that evidence cannot be taken out of context, redacted or edited partially or wholly, to support one's claims.

Some of the aforementioned states may be remedied for some people through training, but the extreme difficulty of changing these characteristics in order to achieve "Formal Operation Cognitive Development" while already an adult makes me conclude the possibility that this is a trait or congenital defect shared by nearly one third of the human population.
