Self-Esteem Psychosis - Random Notes

Feelings of satisfaction can only be recognized by comparing past situations where satisfaction was experienced. Most memories of positive emotions come from early to prepubescent childhood.

 As our bodies change, our hormones and neurotransmitter chemicals change, sometimes in a way that lessens the salience of positive emotions in response to external stimuli. Some chemical changes are more extreme than others.

A psychosis of self-esteem comes from the distortion of values and judgments of the self compared to other people and cultural expectations, often leading to irrational violence.


Social Dysphoria is not exclusively gender related

  • Dysphoria is at one end of a spectrum, opposite to Euphoria. What elements do we use to determine the number of degrees of separation between the two, and how do we describe them?
If our cognitive biases causes one to accept arguments based on logical fallacies,
